Katie was an exceptional member of our Explore family, and her memory continues to live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. We remember her for her dedication, kindness, and unwavering commitment to her work, as well as her boundless love for her young daughter, Emily.
LOOKING FORWARD
In past years, this event has supported a trust fund for Emily—a cause that remains close to our hearts. This year, we are excited to expand our impact by working toward establishing a scholarship in Katie’s name at the University of Alberta, where she completed her Materials Engineering degree. Supporting female students pursuing a similar path is a meaningful way to reflect the passion and dedication Katie brought to her career.
